The theme for the 16th annual FACS Fashion Show was "Blueprint Couture". Each designer was tasked with finding an inspirational building to base their designs off of. For my building I chose the Disney Castle. This building has a very special place in my heart as it represents the joy of childhood and the magic of dreaming! It is the center piece of the "Happiest Place on Earth". The joy and happiness that the Disney Castle represents motivates me to dream big and reach for the stars.

My first piece is based off of the turrets. The gold "pixie dust" at the bottom is the trail left by Tinkerbell as she flies around the castle! If you look closely you can find hidden Mickeys in the design! Sarah Robosky did an excellent job modeling this piece and bringing the Disney magic to life!

My second piece is based off of the building as a whole. I wanted to capture the elegance and grandeur of the castle into a beautiful ballgown. The color scheme mimics the latest paint job done to brighten the exterior, with gold trim resembling the regal decor. To top it off, a Tinkerbell necklace "flies over" the castle. What a lovely job Kenzi Stingley did modeling this ensemble.
