The theme for the 17th FACS Fashion Show was "Fashion Speaks".  For this show, designers were tasked with creating a collection that tied recent trends to the designer's individual voice and what they wanted to say with their fashion. I used this opportunity to show how my fashion speaks creatively. I was inspired by two opposing fabrics, denim and sheer, that I saw consistently on the runways. I decided to challenge myself to see what I could do with a box of old jeans and a bolt of organza.
