Personal Projects

"Lillian"

This is a day dress I made for myself in one of my sewing classes. The bodice is made of a printed cotton. The skirt, collar, and cuffs are made of a black satin while the sleeves are made of a black, sheer chiffon.

White Cape

This is a white cape I made for my friend as a birthday present. She loves fantasy pieces and I wanted to surprise her with an addition to her collection. the cape itself is made of a soft white material, with faux feathers for a fun trim around the hood. The clasp is a chord tied in an Irish knot.

"Tano"

This is a Halloween costume that I designed and made for myself. It is inspired off of the Star Wars character, Ahsoka Tano, but with a haute couture twist. The sleeves and belt are separate pieces that are painted to mimic her iconic headdress. The dress itself is made of an orange satin, with white decals to commemorate her face paint.

Sleeping Beauty

This is another Halloween costume I made. It is based off of the Disney Princess, Aurora, from the film "Sleeping Beauty". Instead of choosing either a pink or blue fabric to match the film, I picked an iridescent fabric that shines both pink and blue at the same time to honor the magical color changes done by her fairy friends.

Comfy Robe

This is a comfy robe I made for myself to enjoy the cozy moments of life. It is made from a velvet corduroy that is incredibly comfortable. The large pockets are probably my favorite parts!

Hobbit

This is a Hobbit ensemble I made for myself for an English Country Dancing event. It is made of three parts. There's the white undershirt with puffy sleeves and lace trim. Then there are the matching skirt and bodice. The bodice has a fun floral panel in the front to add dimension to the costume. There are also fun burgundy and green trims around the borders of the skirt and bodice. I created this piece in its entirety in one day!

Craft Apron

For one of my classes I was tasked with making a textile design. I decided to make a fun pattern that inspired me to create. I then created a work apron out of the fabric. The pockets are incredibly useful for keeping things in and I love the blue ribbon and lace trims!
